WELCOME TO UFO 1977

One of my favorite questions to be asked is, "Did I ever tell you about the time I saw a UFO?" When I answered "No" to that question from a friend, he proceeded to tell me a story about a strange craft that visited him in California when he was a kid. He said, "Look into it. California. 1977."

So I did. And so here I am.

I'm Erik Schlimmer – author, researcher, therapist, and head honcho of UFO 1977. My interest in UFOs began in 2000 when I attended a presentation by nuclear physicist and UFO researcher Stanton Friedman. The rest, as they say, his history. I now work with UFO support and research organizations and make regular appearances on platforms as a proud podcast tramp.

Here at UFO 1977, you can stay up to date on this book project, explore sighting accounts, learn about the craft people witnessed, and contribute to my research.

Thanks for landing here!
